("Welcome" decal designed by my friend Shanna Murray)
Welcome to our home!
My family and I live in a craftsman home in Seattle, WA, surrounded by tall evergreens and glowing green gardens (our neighbors', not ours). Home is important to us, we spend a lot of time here. We've made our mark and added our personality through DIY projects and pieced together hand me downs and thrift store finds. (Many of the DIY projects I have shared with readers and can be found here.)
$25 craigslist bar cart in the dining room holds all the spirits for our traditional Friday night cocktails.
Master Bedroom (quilt is Sunshine Medallions).
Ian's quilt (in case you guys didn't believe me when I said all the kids have handmade quilts).
Ian's room, shelves are for prized Lego structures not to be taken apart.
We redid Emma's room in the Summer of 2012. It went from little girl to teenage girl over the course of several weeks. There is an interview and pictures talking about this process over at Design Mom.
Family room, where we spend an insane amount of time together some days.
The main floor bathroom redone and chatted about here.
My crafting and sewing studio, see more here-
Our kids got a new bathroom redo in summer 2011, Japanese anime style, explained here.
Our home was featured on Design Mom, in Gabrielle's "Living With Kids' section in September of 2011.
There is also a tour of on Apartment Therapy, September 2011.
