via So Lead Us There
So, I love a new year to reset, to just mentally start fresh, but not necessarily for making resolutions that quickly feel unreasonable or impossible to keep. What about you? Are you big resolution lists or do you not believe in any of it? I've been thinking a lot about what I want to work on in 2013, in fact, I had fun the other day pinning inspirational quotes and sayings (hand-letter a quote and I'm practically in tears with motivation just from the beauty of it). I thought I'd share them.
Walk every day. I have heard and read from lots of us that just want to move more. Walking is the easiest thing I can do everyday, no special equipment, it saves gas, feels great to be outside, and frankly I embarrass myself every time I drive from my house to my favorite corner coffee shop. Disgraceful.

I do believe in the work I do, and I want to continue to. Doubting ourselves is so evil.

This year, as with every year, I want to learn something new. Last year it was painting, and suddenly, I was in love with a new way to express myself creatively and showing my work. Who knows what this year will bring?

This year I will remember to be present. I value the life I have and I am so lucky to have it. My kids will be entering into middle school and high school in Fall of 2013. Time is passing so fast.
Remember how much my friends mean to me. Thank you all for reading what I write here and following along with me on this creative journey!
