Me on Friday: "You're going to have to put up with a lot of hugs this weekend, I should warn you."
Emma: "No, it's okay."
I have wept, watched, and tried to comprehend what happened in Connecticut on Friday. I can't. I cannot fathom what those families must be going through.

Thank you for your lovely post.
I think that it's nice and important to put everything else aside for a moment and say something about what happened on Friday.
My kids had to put up with some extra hugs this weekend, too.

Is there a button on your site that I might click to view all of the granny squares and links to those patterns in numerical sequence? Thanks for sharing these. I am making squares for charity and Newtown, CT children blankets, and hope it is all right if I use these squares for that purpose.

Click on the granny square sampler afghan image in the left column to go to the page where all the links are. Thanks!
