I had a supply of these glass ball ornaments, picked up at Joann's or Michaels, that I never got around to using last year. There have been glass-ball painting how-to's all over pinterest lately, and I was inspired to color these with neon paint. Just use neon craft paint, pour a fair amount of it into the glass ornament and slowly turn the ornament to coat the inside. Once the inside is completely coated, stand the ornament upside down in a glass to let the excess paint come out. (Note: I had to do this process 2 times to completely coat the inside well).
Another batch got brightly colored pom poms, using just colors I had in my yarn stash, and shoving several into each ball. These are good to do in front of the TV I'm still watching Breaking Bad, can't stop actually.

My friend Cheryl, of Paradisio Designs, is offering new dates for her fantastic sewing camps for kids and I wanted to let everyone know about it.
Holiday Sew Camp Fall 2012 at the Paradiso Designs Sewing Lounge in Magnolia (Seattle, Washington), taught by Cheryl Kuczek. Come join us for this 5th year of coming live from our Sewing Lounge!!
If your child has an inkling to create, this is a fun class for them to make a project that they get to choose to make all on their own. They are the designer, from the fabric to use, to the clothing, accessory, bag, or plush creature that will come from their hearts and their hands to make. If they have never touched a sewing machine, that is ok. They will learn that as well!
The use of a sewing machine, important sewing tools, and all materials/notions to complete the project are included in the fees. Singing to songs or petting Bobbin the lounge-kitty are completely optional!!
Dates Offered are: December 26, 27, 28 @1.30-5.30pm and Jan 2, 3, 4 @1.30-5.30pm
Would you like to enroll your child, or need more details……Phone: 206-405-0587/ Email: mailto:paradisodesigns@comcast.net
