I have been a fan of Tamar Mogendorff's work for years, her delicate creatures and birdhouses were what inspired me to make stuffed pieces for my own kids when they were little. I recently discovered that Essenza, one of my favorite shops in Fremont, has many of her pieces. I think I gasped. I've never seen her pieces in person, and they are even more beautiful up close. Did you know she also designs the fabrics that the pieces are made of. Incredible amounts of detail.

Its worth a stop inside this amazing store if you're in the neighborhood, but seeing Tamar's work is even more reason if you need one.
