I apologize for the sparse postings. Just working through a to-do list that suddenly got rather long. I don't like when blog posting is the one thing that falls off the list so easily, it's the one part of the day I always enjoy.
Thankfully, I am fueled with good coffee, one of my Valentine's gifts from Peter was an espresso maker. I slightly tweak every cup I make, hoping to find the perfect formula.
The basement/soon-to-be studio concrete floor is nearing the completely clear stage. (Clearing it of stuff was much more difficult than I thought it would be, we have a lot of stuff.) Which means I hope to paint the floor this week and give it time to set. Once that's done, I will be moving my things down there and paint the walls. A lot will be happening at the same time, but that's really the only way to do it. I'll take lots of photos and show you the process.
And oh, if you could see my dining room right now. Not looking so beautiful. Its piled high with boxes and files that Peter will move into my now-but-soon-to-be-no-more studio space. Oy! As Susan said in a note she sent me yesterday, it's the great game of house Tetris.
However, because it can't be all drudgery, in a moment of quiet this morning, I finally treated myself to the Anthony Burrill print I blogged about recently. I can just picture it in my new workspace. It makes me smile.
Are you guys good? I hope so. I am nose down, sewing up bee blocks (I'm so behind!) and some other things. Thinking about making a nice dinner tonight (but what?). Listening to this.
