Happy Monday to you! It is extremely dark and rainy here today, which always makes me feel happy that I painted the family room a vanilla shade of white. I think I will also paint the dining room the same shade (did you think I'd forgotten about the dining room? Oh no!) I have been working on Sharilyn's little forest quilt because I wanted to practice piecing some triangles (they aren't perfect, but I'm working on it). Instructions for this quilt are over at the Purl Bee. I think this will eventually be a wall hanging of some sort for our dining room. I love the flexibility of the design, I can make it long and narrow, or wide and short, etc. Plus, its little trees for goodness sake! So freakin cute! Oh! And....
*I am photographing this on our dining room table. A far cry from the black, huh? I'll show you more soon!
*I am going to be attending Little Winter this weekend in Portland, OR. Purely to see my people in Portland ("my people" make me happy) and to spend some money. There are some amazing vendors lined up!
*I am starting to prepare pieces for an upcoming collaborative show at Assemble in January, entitled "This Will Be Our Year". I worked and sketched and thought for weeks before my inspiration came, but now that it has I am so excited! I will give you all the details on the show coming up, I'm in the company of some aMAZing ladies for this show (my first one!).
*Let's do Erin's pillow challenge! Here's are the details.
Stay dry neighbors!
