I asked Emma to give us her thoughts this newly released Klutz book, Glossy Bands, since she spent the most time with it this weekend. (Apparently is was awesome.)
"I personally absolutely loved this book. The bands were great and they looked awesome. But I don't recommend wearing the bands at night (they can twist up, so take them off before bed). Trust me. You don't even have to limit yourself to the bracelet patterns in the book. I like how the bracelets will seal themselves together when I wear them. There are four colors in the set. You can also swirl the colors to make a cool bracelet. Overall this is a pretty awesome book."
This book is for ages 8 and up, but at 11, all I had to do was hand the book to Emma and off she went (love that!). There are strips of plastic in the book that can be laid over the sample patterns, then you use the paint provided as you want to. (These also apparently make great window clings.) Here is a video showing how to make them.
