Well, I ended up taking more of a computer break than I intended this week, but I probably needed it, its been good. The scorching hot temperatures in Seattle really zapped my energy, and my studio seems to heat up early in the day, and stay steamy.
I wanted to share these gorgeous images from a book I found at the library over the weekend, 1973's Patchwork Simplified by Alice Timmins. I love the use of color and immaculate piecing. They don't look like what I picture in my mind as 70's patchwork at all, so modern.
