There they all are. Every "flat"... "angle"... "weird part"... all there and believe it or not, semi-organized into some IKEA drawer units moved into Ian's room from the family room.
We did this little lego switch a few weeks ago now and he is still just so happy with it. The other day as I was listening him playing, I remembered back to a day in my childhood when life really was just that simple and happiness was what was in your own space or your own room. When your room was full of what you loved and you felt that feeling of thinking you could happily stay there forever? Remember that feeling that all was right with the world at that moment? I love that, I just want to grab it and bottle it up and sit it on my desk. So many days I could just really use a little nip of that feeling, you know?
My month as guest author over at habit has come to an end, sadly. Its a fascinating and beautiful journey they are on over there and I will continue to check it daily. The one upside is that now I can focus more on my photo a day project, which was a little neglected last month. I've also made some new things I've yet to show you.
*Sign ups for the kid's ATC swap will close on Friday. Please note that if you did not send your information to atckidswap@gmail.com, you are not officially signed up. I just checked and there are 577 emails to sign up! Which means it will be a really great swap (as Erin and I hoped, there's international folks signed up as well US), but there's some behind the scenes work that will need to get done over the weekend, so bear with us. If you signed up, you will get an email from us hopefully Monday with everything you need to know. There is a Flickr group to post photos, can't wait to see what the kids come up with!
