changes

This is where I sit when I'm reading what you all have to say, or writing to you.  Its a lovely spot, in my studio.  But truth be told, I feel some real changes coming on.  I've decided to take the summer off from wise craft.  I'm saying the summer, but I'm not actually sure I will be returning to this space.  I'm completely undecided at this point.  You see, I have had this little blog here since Fall of 2005.  I really can't believe its been that long.  Its been a constant creative companion all that time.  Constant.  It has taken me many places, it has inspired me in many ways.  But as all things evolve and change, I think this is my time to do just that.  There are so many other things that could benefit from my focus right now.  Well, that's always true.  Kids...household...life...  Plus, as the small business that Peter and I have begins to grow, I feel that I spend way too much time focused on the computer throughout my day.  I would very much like to try simplifying.  Jenny recently posted some of her thoughts and I thought she described my own feelings very well.

I will continue to make things and have my etsy shop.  You can still find me posting pictures on Flickr...the biggest thing that I think has come out of the act of blogging for me is a budding interest in photography.  I will still post over at eight by eight (I am having a ball with that project).    I will continue to check in on all of you when I can.  I value you all so much, more than I can really put into words here.  I thank you for stopping by here when you do, for leaving me encouragement, comments, and thoughts.  I feel so fortunate to be a part of this community.  Being in touch with all of you has filled so many of my days with goodness.
