i'm boring...

I'm getting the message that when you're five and unable to be amongst your own to frolic and play due to being sick, having several days with no one but your mom to keep you company is a real style cramper. Ian is back on regularly scheduled programming tomorrow, and not a moment too soon. Above are the remnants of the day that I'm putting away tonight (apparently friends don't ask you to lace little German outfits with them). He didn't even want a story from me before bed. I thought he was bluffing, till I went by his room a couple of minutes later and found him completely out. I have apparently lost whatever razzle-dazzle I had.
Thankfully the other one still thinks I'm ok. As I was making dinner I was given a little "best friends" quiz and came out acceptably.
I am motivated to get moving full steam in the studio right now. After clearing out and cleaning out the room and all its contents today (Ian, that is NOT boring, dear), its all organized and ready to work. I like this kind of energy, it feels very good but not quite tingly, like I'm not going to burst from it. That's good, because when that happens I don't do anything. I just go take a nap.
I am so excited about my Brownie troop's next badge, sewing! I need your help, can you guys recommend any good craft for 7-8 yr old girls (preferably tested)? These girls are definitely on the ball, but our meetings are about 1 1/2 hrs long and I'd love to begin and end something in less time than that. I love the idea of these sachets, plus I love the fact that they smell. We could also make something like a beanbag, then incorporate some sort of cooperative game with them. Oh well, help me out friends!
