Forgive the blurry photo. Its one of those Seattle days when you're not gonna get enough natural light no matter how many blinds you open. For lack of a design wall, I'm pinning these squares to a white tablecloth on the biggest flat surface I can find that's not the floor-my bed. I can now put together the stories, and connect them where they make the most sense.
In my usual style, I'm already thinking about doing another quilt. This time for my bed. Has anyone out there ever attempted to machine quilt (on a regular sewing machine) a king-sized quilt? Am I crazy for thinking I could try it? Any words of wisdom? My inspiration is this print I got from One Good Bumblebee. I absolutely love the colors, the prints, the trees, everything. It will be framed and put in my bedroom soon, and all I keep thinking is how beautiful a quilt would be inspired by it. I really would like to try this Denyse Schmidt quilt.
